More images from Co Antrim

In no particular order here are more images from the trip to Cushendall, Co Antrim...

...Glenariff Falls in the most beautiful of the nine glens


... a peeping sheep on the way to Layde Church near Cushendall


Layde Church - a medieval church that fell into ruin about two hundred years ago...

...but it is still occasionally used for burials - a bit spooky I thought. Inside the church local dignitaries were buried in the 19th century - on top of the ground and then filled in so that the current ground level is almost within reach of where the roof would have been?!

Lynda: Beautiful images that inspire all of us to go and be there! I particularly like the textures you were able to capture and the light that is varied in your photographic compositions. Very thoughtfully taken and chosen.
