Images from Northern Ireland
Some pics from our visit to Cushendall last week.........if I need an excuse to post them on a blog that is concerned about light and how I view it and use it in my art... well then I'd have to say the light in Northern Ireland is spectacular - in fact the week we were there it may have been unique.
The quality of light in some places (notably Cornwall, the Meditteranean) has inspired many artists in the past. I found the alternating dramatic skies and clear blue skies in Co Antrim were both uplifting and inspiring.
We did have exceptionally good weather and so were able to see the superb countryside at its best - or in the best light!?!
